Production Log 3: Experience in Editing

Today, we present you with a 'special edition' Production Log. As we approach the actual production and editing of our short film, it is important we have sufficient experience working with the school's editing software, Final Cut Express. After running through a few tips and tricks with the school media technician, we decided to make a production log that would showcase some of the things we had learned.

Although we may not use these effects in our actual film, any time we take editing in Final Cut counts as experience, and it will all help to give our film a more professional look in the end. The school technician also made us aware of the limitations of Final Cut Express, so we may well use different editing software to achieve certain effects.
